Yoshinogari Keitai-Guide
This building is located next to the market tower, and is level with the market tower and line of pillars. From this, it is assumed that it was a structure connected to the market tower with the function of looking after the market and the storehouses. It can be assumed that soldiers were posted on the second floor of the market tower to keep watch over the market and storehouses. It is thought that this structure served as a guardroom for the soldiers.
