Yoshinogari Keitai-Guide
This section is located in an area at the very back of the market and storehouse area, and in the middle of this area are remains of some large structures sectioned off by a moat. We can assume they were securely defended by a moat and a palisade. This suggests that the group of storehouses held materials of the highest importance to the kingdom of Yoshinogari. It is likely to have been an area of palatial storehouses for materials of strategic and military importance, as recounted in the Gishiwajinden.
