Become a Yayoi Villager Program
Created in conjunction with the completion of the Minami no Mura (South Village), the "Become a Yayoi Villager Program" offers visitors the opportunity to live like villagers from the Yayoi period. Activities are based on the "Story of the Seasons", a narrative that depicts village life during Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
The program is lead by local volunteers with participants shedding their modern clothes for authentic Yayoi period costumes, allowing them to see and experience actual Yayoi life.
